Owner preparation · Downloadable record
Leave fewer questions open.
A checklist can tell you what to think about. This record helps you finish the conversation: what remains unanswered, who will clarify it, and what you need to do after the answer arrives. Make a record for an appointment you have already arranged.
Write the question before guessing the answer.
“Has the administrator received the complete vaccination page?” and “What food container should we bring?” each have a clear person to ask. Keep an unknown visible until that person answers. A checked box in your own notes does not show that the team has reviewed a document.
Use the Board & Train handover guide to review the arrangements, records, feeding notes, belongings and changes since intake. Then bring only the outstanding questions into this record. If the appointment concerns multiple dogs, prepare their individual histories and shared routines too.
Constructed example: “Food containers: administrator to confirm before arrival. Answer received on our appointment notes: labelled containers requested. Next step: label the approved containers before packing.”
Keep the question’s subject here and detailed health information in the team’s private onboarding route. This public tool needs no email, phone number, address or medical attachment.
Build your pre-arrival question record.
Use this to track the questions you still need answered before your agreed arrival. Your entries stay in this page; this tool does not send or automatically save them. Download or print to keep a copy before leaving. Use names or household roles without contact details.
Turn the received answer into the next action.
Read the record before arrival. Separate answers already received from questions still open; assign a next action to the person who will complete it. If instructions change, retain the newer answer and date in your own program records.
Download the text record or print a copy before leaving the page. The tool does not send your entries to Angier K9 or save them for a later visit. Share any remaining administrative questions through the route already agreed with the team.
After an owner lesson, use the household practice card for demonstrated instructions. It serves a different job from this appointment-preparation record. To discuss whether Board & Train suits your dog, begin with a free consultation.
